Super Easy DIY Braided Necklace
Braided things are definitely popular, and leather accessories look great with casual style. That’s why we’ll make a braided leather necklace today, you’ll need suede or leather cording, scissors, tape, and a ruler, paint or nail polish. Start by cutting four strands of cord, tape them off, and paint them with nail polish. Next, take the 28 inch piece and tie a loose knot with the ends. Leave a couple of inches beyond the knot for braiding. Slip the two 5 inch pieces into the knot. Tighten the knot and tape down the rest of the necklace, leaving the six strands loose. Divide them into two strand sections and braid. Read the rest of the tutorial here and enjoy!

How to Make Your Own Anchor & Starfish Pillows
Hello Friends!
It’s Silhouette Challenge Day!!! Yay! That means myself and a bunch of my closest Silhouette Challenge Facebook Buddies are sharing our latest projects with you. This month’s theme was fabric. I have been wanting to make some new pillowcases for my living room. This challenge was just the kick I needed to get started. Since we are close to the beach I have a very nautical living room. These pillows fit right in. These pillows were heavily inspired by a pillow I saw on Tea Rose Home. I love how she added the buttons and different fabric to the side.
I decided I was going to use the anchor I had used in my post last year about onsies.

DIY Anthropologie-Inspired Heart Pillow
This heart pillow is inspired by an Anthropologie one, so you’ll need fabric of the darker color and the lighter one, some filling (you can take from an old pillow), a sewing machine and a pen. Once you’ve washed, dried and ironed your fabric, cut out your pillow pieces from the darker linen. For the back, you want to cut two pieces that are the same width as the front. To figure out the length measurements, add 6″ to the length of the front, then divide by two. Now you need to cut a crapload of various-sized hearts. Read the rest of the tutorial here and finish the pillow!
