i’ve been meaning to update my ipad case forever… and on a whim a few months ago, i bought a yard of this soft white faux leather. so expect to see it used in a few more projects because i have a huge ass roll of it now.

i can barely sew — as i’ve said before, so if you’re a great sewer, this will be a cinch for you. for me, not so easy.

Leather bracelet piece (mine came from Michaels but if you can’t find something similar you can cut one from leather yourself)

Lace pieces – one thinner than your leather piece and one thicker

Loved charm (or something similar)

E-6000 glue

Hey everyone, It's Janae! I wanted to share a DIY for soft soled baby gladiator sandals. I made these for my baby Hazel, and I love them so much! This is a really easy project! Mine are pretty girly, but if you have a boy you can alter them. Buy brown leather and shorten the straps to make them look more gender neutral. The great thing about this project is that is is totally customizable! Have fun with it, and change things up! Here is how I made Hazel's.

Braided things are definitely popular, and leather accessories look great with casual style. That’s why we’ll make a braided leather necklace today, you’ll need suede or leather cording, scissors, tape, and a ruler, paint or nail polish. Start by cutting four strands of cord, tape them off, and paint them with nail polish. Next, take the 28 inch piece and tie a loose knot with the ends. Leave a couple of inches beyond the knot for braiding. Slip the two 5 inch pieces into the knot. Tighten the knot and tape down the rest of the necklace, leaving the six strands loose.
